Born in a small town in northern Indiana, Ty learned the importance, of loyalty, hard work and integrity. In 1999 after attending Indiana University for his undergraduate degree, he made his way to Denver, Colorado, where he met his wife Mary Ellen. The two of them settled in Denver and have 2 boys named Jackson and Preston.
Ty joined the mortgage industry in January of 2003 when he was finishing his Master of Education at Regis University. He learned the business quickly and decided to forgo teaching after graduation and continue mortgage consulting.
His education background has given him the skills necessary to explain guidelines and mortgage concepts in a clear and easy manner. With the continual changes in the real estate industry, he realizes the importance of constant education in the field. Therefore, he is able to advise his clients according to their best interest.
Ty understands that he is helping his clients create the largest debt of their life, so he does not look at them as just another deal. He sees it as a lifetime of managing their mortgages and the importance of teaming with strategic partners, such as CPAs, financial advisors, knowledgeable realtors and appraisers to assist in any area not in his expertise.
Ty is known for thinking outside the box when it comes to financing and creating a plan that is designed to meet his client's short AND long term financial goals. He understands that all factors must be considered and nothing can be assumed in the Real Estate world, or problems will arise. Ty realizes that buying a home is stressful so communication to everyone involved is of the up most importance to him during a transaction.
